Kathy Lee Wilkerson

Chesterfield, SC

 Ms. Kathy Lee Wilkerson, aged 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 5:00 PM on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Trey Thompson and Brent Taylor. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 PM before the service at the funeral home. Additional times to pay respects will be at the home of her daughter, Brittany and Jason Smith, in Ruby, SC.

Kathy was born on January 28, 1957, in Chesterfield County, SC, to the late Eugene and Annie Lee Shaw Lewis. She was a former employee of INA Bearing and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. Kathy took great pleasure in cooking for her family and growing her garden each year. Above all, she cherished her role as “Mae Mae” and “Granny” to her grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Ms. Wilkerson was also preceded in death by her brother, Eugene “Shine” Lewis; and sister, Debbie Hurst.

 Survivors include her children, Bobby Ray (Laci) Turner, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC, Brittany (Jason) Smith of Ruby, SC; grandchildren, Bailey Turner, Ella Turner, Emery White, Rhett Turner, Rylee Smith, Piper Smith, and Laura Kate Smith; sisters, Barbara Ann Gooden of Chesterfield, SC, and Carolyn Roscoe of Patrick, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
