FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: Will follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Gardner was born November 29, 1946 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Ray Clanton and Azalee Douglas Clanton. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and a retired employee of A.O. Smith with 30 years of service. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church. Kay enjoyed baking, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kay was also preceded in death by her husband, William Gardner; a son, Jerry Gardner; and by a grandson, Gabe Gardner.

5 Sons: Scott Gardner and Chris (Angela Jones) Gardner both of Chesterfield, SC, Nelson (Kathy) Gardner of Seneca, SC, Rev. Jeff (Teresa) Gardner of Gibsonville, NC, and David (Courtney) Hair of Chesterfield, SC
1 Daughter: Sharon (Mike) Kimrey of Cheraw, SC
Daughter-in-law: Debbie Gardner of Walhalla, SC
Also: 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren
