Mr. Kenneth Edward Freeman, age 70, entered into rest on Saturday evening, June 25, 2022. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at The Church of Latter – day Saints in Cheraw, SC with burial to follow in the LDS Cemetery in Society Hill, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Freeman was born February 10, 1952 in Charlotte, NC a son of the late George Hollis and Hannah Lundy Freeman. He was the retired co-owner of Freeman’s Farms with over 23 years of service and a former employee of 27 years with INA Bearing. Mr. Freeman was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cheraw, where he was commissioned as an Elder, and set apart as First Counselor. He enjoyed fishing in his earlier years and was a regular member on the “seat of education” at Patrick General Store.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Freeman was also preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Freeman, Theo Tucker, Eugene Freeman, and Susan Gainey; and by twin grandsons, Cameron & Cooper Hunt.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 51 years, Margaret Helen Freeman of the home; children, James Edward (Shannon) Freeman of Darlington, SC, Cheryl Lynne (Wayne) Threatte of Florence, SC, and Lorie (David) Sweatt of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Brittany Daniels, Kenneth Freeman, Aspen Witherspoon, Emily Freeman, Bryce Daniels, Lawren Sweatt, Tristan Hunt, Brantly Witherspoon, Madison Freeman, Zoei Hunt, Nathan Freeman, Cobra Sweatt, and Carter Thompson; siblings, Kathy Ingram of Darlington, SC, Sybil “Ludy” Smith of Society Hill, SC, Francine Wallace of Cheraw, SC, Raymond Freeman of Patrick, SC, and Margaret Roscoe of Cordova, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
