Kenneth "Kenny" Rollins

Jefferson, SC

Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Rollins entered into rest on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the age of 69. A Celebration of Life Service will be 4:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church by Rev. Farrar Griggs and Rev. Rick Henderson. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Friday, prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church and other times at the home of Christina and Brandon Catoe.

Mr. Rollins was born November 7, 1949, in Chesterfield County, SC, a son of the late Fred Edward and Sarah Camilla Sullivan Rollins. A 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School, Mr. Rollins was the owner and operator of Rollins Grocery for over 16 years.  He was an avid golfer and a member of the White Plains Country Club.  Mr. Rollins was also a member and Past Master of the Macedonia Lodge 239.  He enjoyed basketball, NASCAR racing, and singing; however, more than anything, he loved spending time with his grandbabies - they were the apple of his eye.

Survivors include his two children, Charity (Douglas) Brown and Christina (Brandon) Catoe, both of Jefferson, SC; and their mother, Shirley Byrd of Cherry Grove, SC; his grandchildren, Beckham Scott, Oscar Scott, Delilah Scott, Brody Scott, Cooper Catoe, and Bristol Catoe; one brother, Felix (Ann) Rollins of Kannapolis, NC; and his extended family at the Morrell Nursing Center.
