Mr. Kenneth Woodrow “Kenny” Shaw, age 64, entered into rest on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, June 14, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Tracy Gooding and Rev. Thad Jacobs with burial to follow in the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Shaw was born December 8, 1953 in Chesterfield, SC a son of Alice Brooks Parker and the late Woodrow Shaw. He was a retired employee of Wal-Mart Distribution Center of Pageland and a former employee of Piggly Wiggly of Chesterfield. Mr. Shaw was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church and the Chesterfield Masonic Lodge # 220. A man who always had an eye for a deal, Kenny enjoyed going to yard sales. His hobbies included fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family. Kenny also enjoyed watching American Pickers, old Westerns, and NASCAR racing. He will be remembered for his ability to make others laugh and was affectionately known as the family prankster.

In addition to his father, Kenny was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Ray Shaw.

Survivors include his devoted wife of nearly 46 years, Barbara T. Shaw of the home; son, Gerald (Loleen) Shaw of Merritt Island, FL; daughter, Kimberly (Bruce Chavis, Jr.) Shaw of Patrick, SC; mother, Alice Parker of Cheraw, SC; 5 grandchildren, Natalie Nualart, Angelina Nualart, Garrett Shaw, Taylor Edwards, and Ryleigh Chavis; brother, Rodger Dale Shaw; and sister, Robin (Ray) McAlister both of Chesterfield, SC.
