INTERMENT: to follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM , Monday, October 4, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Joplin was born August 28, 1937 in Florence, SC a son of the late Bruce Decoldan Joplin and Cora Mae Oliver Joplin. He was a retired textile employee and security officer. Mr. Joplin was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Kenny was an avid Elvis Pressley fan and enjoyed singing and working in his yard. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by a brother James M. Joplin.

2 Sons: Richard K. (Carolyn) Joplin of Chesterfield, SC and Robert L. (Gail) Joplin of Jefferson, SC
2 Daughters: Joanne Joplin of Colorado and Teresa Joplin of Nebraska
Special Lady Friend: Annette Brock of Chesterfield, SC
2 Brothers: Bruce D. (Betty) Joplin, Jr. of Burlington, NC and Jerry C. (Nancy) Joplin of Nashville, TN
2 Sisters: Myrtle J. (Gene) Brown of Chesterfield, SC and Jenney J. (Billy) McKeown of Columbia, SC
7 Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
