HISTORY: Mr. Adams was born November 30, 1936 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Lacy Malloy Adams and Clara Bell Therrell Adams Smith. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving one tour of duty in the Korean Conflict, and three tours of duty in the Vietnam War. During his military career, Mr. Adams was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, the Navy Expert Rifle & Pistol Marksmanship Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, and achieved the title of Nationally Ranked Master. He was the owner and operator of L & M Antiques. In addition to his parents, Lacy was preceded in death by his brothers, J.T., Joe, and Franklin Adams; 3 sisters, Iris Scott, Jewel Flowers, and Margie Butler; and by 1 grandchild, Madeline Grace Adams
