Larry Gurganious

Mr. Larry Carr Gurganious, age 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, March 19, 2017 at New Life Baptist Fellowship by Pastor Jonathan Cox and Rev. Tommy Cole with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Gurganious was born March 9, 1951 in Wilmington, NC a son of the late Bryant and Daisy Bell Pickett Gurganious Anderson. He was a carpenter and a true handyman that could repair anything and also owned and operated a landscaping business for many years. Mr. Gurganious enjoyed hunting, gardening, raising chickens, and loved being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Larry was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Alton Gurganious, Essel Gurganious, and J.D. Pickett; and 1 sister, Jenny Brown.

Survivors include his children, Cindy (Tracey) Nixon of Jefferson, SC, Tracey “George” Gurganious, and Penny G. Gurganious both of Pageland, SC; Mary Sheffield, and Carrie Losaw both of Wallace, NC; and Daisy Gurganious of Jefferson, SC; son of the heart, Jeff Miller of Pageland, SC; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ann Bennett of Clinton, NC and Daisy Long of FL.

The family requests memorials be made to New Life Baptist Fellowship, 202 N. Oak Street, Pageland, SC 29728.
