FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Sunday, December 6, 2015 in the Acacia Chapel of Carolina Memorial Park, 601 Mt Olivet Rd, Kannapolis, NC 28083

INTERMENT: will follow in the Carolina Memorial Park

VIEWING: 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service in the Acacia Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service in the Acacia Chapel.

HISTORY: Mrs. Jordan was born September 22, 1918 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late James Z. “Jim” and Hattie Watson Woodward. She was a former employee of Center Grove Child Care Center and a member of Charity Baptist Church of Kannapolis, NC. She was a loving caregiver and homemaker all her life. In addition to her parents, Leona was also preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Jordan; 1 daughter, Mary Louise Goodman; 1 brother, Calvin Woodward; and 1 sister, Azilee Parker.

1 Daughter: Linda J. (Donald) Plyler of Jefferson, SC
5 Grandchildren: Randy Goodman of Mooresville, NC, Keith (Terri) Goodman of Concord, NC, Michelle (Gil Earl) Plyler of Hamden, CT, Lynette (Eddie) Savage of Jefferson, SC, and Rebecca (Thomas) King of McBee, SC
Also: 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Step Great Grandchild
