VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Monday, September 14, 2015 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mrs. Shelton was born August 7, 1945 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Reverend Colie Listern Edwards and Cartha Burr Edwards. She was a graduate of Monroe High School and a retired school cafeteria coordinator. Linda was also a faithful pastor's wife for years, and was now attending the Ruby Church of God. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing, shopping, and talking on the phone. In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, Reverend R. W. Shelton Sr.; two step sons, Rupert Shelton Jr. and Milton Shelton, and by a brother, Harold Edwards.

2 Stepdaughters: Wanda Parish and Gail Green
1 Brother: Rev. Tony L. (Carolyn) Edwards of Six Mile, SC
3 Sisters: Sylvia Pipkin of St. Stephen, SC, Gloria (Rev. Larry) Menzo of Chesterfield, SC, and Jewell (Jerry) Gregory of Ruby, SC
20 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren, along with many Special Nieces and Nephews
