Linda Wallace Brock

          Mrs. Linda Wallace Brock, age 70, entered into rest on Monday, October 30, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the home.

          Mrs. Brock was born July 30, 1953 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Ralph and Lois Jordan Wallace. She was a former employee with the Chesterfield County Health Department and the retired owner and operator of Brock’s Seafood. A member of Cheraw Church of God, Linda ministered to others by cooking and sharing meals with the sick and shut-ins in the community. She always enjoyed serving and helping others. Linda also enjoyed fishing, working in her flowers, and raising chickens.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brock was also preceded in death by her daughter, Reta “Cissy” Brock Smith; and an infant sister, Brenda Wallace.

          Survivors include her husband of 54 years, David W. Brock, Sr. of the home; son, David W. Brock, Jr. and wife, Beth of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Garrett Smith of Murrells Inlet, SC, Liana Brock, Marah Brock, and Riggs Brock all of Chesterfield, SC; son-in-law, Chris Smith of Murrells Inlet, SC; and her faithful pet, “Baxter.”

           The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to  “Moe” Zwiefka, and hospice nurse & sister-in-law, Beverly Brock Vaughn for their exceptional caregiving support as well as the entire staff of Gentiva Hospice of Chesterfield.
