Ms. Linda Simpson Lewallen, age 65, entered into rest on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Dr. Thomas Parrish with burial to follow in the Patrick Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Ms. Lewallen was born December 15, 1953 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of Ophelia Boatwright Simpson and the late Daniel Lee Simpson. She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and a member of Patrick Baptist Church. Linda was an avid Clemson Tigers fan, and enjoyed cooking and working with arts and crafts. Of all things she enjoyed, her utmost importance and joy was taking care of her son, Derek.

In addition to her father, Linda was also preceded in death by a sister, Dianne S. Chisholm; and brother, Judge Van Simpson.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Michael Chad Lambert and Derek Hunley Lewallen both of Patrick, SC; 4 grandchildren; mother, Ophelia Boatwright Simpson of Patrick, SC; sister-in-law, Jennie Simpson (Dr. Thomas) Parrish of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
