Locil Arrington

Mr. Locil Arrington, age 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Dr. Roger Wall. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery. Friends may stop by the funeral home on Saturday between the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM to view and pay their respects.

Mr. Arrington was born August 16, 1937 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Clifford “Cliff” and Ada Rushing Arrington. He was a retired employee of Tucker Lumber Company and had previously worked in the turkey business. Locil enjoyed raising and tending to his farm animals.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Arrington was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Kearns Arrington; step-children, Ann Rollins, Frances Davis, and Charles Jordan; brothers, Billy Arrington, Willie Arrington, and George Arrington; and sisters, Estelle Kearns, and Allie Hendrix.

Survivors include his son, Mark (Tammy) Arrington of Pageland, SC; step-son, Kemp (Pat) Jordan of Rockingham, NC; step-daughter, Kay Jordan of Pageland, SC; 9 step-grandchildren, and numerous step-great grandchildren; brothers, Albert Arrington of Fort Lawn, SC, and Charlie Arrington of Conway, SC.
