Lois Ann Boatwright Jordan

Ruby, SC

          Mrs. Lois Ann Boatwright Jordan, age 73, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2024 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church by Pastor Dr. Ronnie Grizzle with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 Friday, prior to the service at the church.

          Mrs. Jordan was born March 5, 1951 in Norman, NC a daughter of the late George Murray and Wilma Frances Meachum Boatwright. She was a 1969 graduate of Bowman High School and received her C.N.A. degree from Chesterfield Marlboro Tec. Ann worked in Human Resource Development for many years in Anson County. She enjoyed attending Thompson Creek Baptist Church with her family and was known for her thoughtfulness in remembering everyone’s birthday and special occasions, always taking the time to send a handwritten card to acknowledge them. Ann also enjoyed crocheting and in later years coloring by numbers.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Calvin Jordan; brothers, James Boatwright, and Ray Boatwright; brothers-in-law, Vinson Gulledge, and Tim Moore.

          Survivors include her sisters, Avis Gulledge of Kannapolis, NC, Myrtle (Carroll) Raffaldt of Chesterfield, SC, and Bonnie Moore of Peachland, NC; in addition to nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own children.
