DECEASED: Mrs. Connie Lucille "Lucy" Jordan Summerford, age 69, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Fairview Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Will follow in the Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Summerford was born June 13, 1945 in Mt. Croghan, SC a daughter of the late Ross Eugene and Susie Geneva Oliver Jordan. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and a retired employee of Conbraco Industries with 31 years of service. Lucy was a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed flea markets, auctions, and working in her flowers. In addition to her parents, Lucy was also preceded in death by her husband, Carroll W. Summerford; a daughter, Janet Carol Oliver: her sister, Frances J. "Cooter" Funderburk; and by four brothers, Ray, Everette, Carroll, and Fred Jordan.

2 Daughters: Sandra (Victor) Hamilton of Nortonville KY and Glenda Oliver of Florence, SC
Grandson: Justin Blackmon
2 Brothers: Robert (Rachel) Jordan of Chesterfield, SC and Gerald (Sue) Jordan of Mt. Croghan, SC
2 Sisters-in-law: Eunice Jordan of Columbia, SC and Helen Jordan of Pageland, SC
