Lunet Williams Hendrix

Pageland, SC

Mrs. Lunet Williams Hendrix, age 66, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home. A Service of Remembrance will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Providence Baptist Church by Dr. Roger Wall. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.

Mrs. Hendrix was born in Barnwell County, SC a daughter of the late Obie Williams, Sr. and Mary Driggers Williams. She was a former employee of Challenger of Pageland, Jefferson Turkey Barns, and Evans Boys Farms. A member of Providence Baptist Church, Lunet was a true farmers wife who enjoyed helping her husband take care of their animals and farm. Her most enjoyable pastime was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Lunet was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Arlene Hendrix; infant granddaughter, Mollie Hendrix; and brothers Lee and Curtis Williams.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Rochel “Dickie” Hendrix of the home; son, Chris Hendrix of Lancaster, SC; grandchildren, Jacob Hendrix and Amber Hendrix; sisters, Anna Hudson, and Julia Mae Faile both of Blackville, SC, Linda Kay Eldridge, and Christine Richardson both of Williston, SC; brothers, Tommy Joe Williams of Williston, SC, and Obie "Bubba" Williams, Jr.; also, special friends, Ruth Adams, Vanessa Brewer, and Stacy Brewer.
