HISTORY: Mr. Teal was born January 2, 1957 in Hartsville, SC a son of the late Luther Junior "Bud" and Lou Eva Cranford Teal. He was a pipe fitter. In addition to his parents, Shorty was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Christine Teal; a brother, Kenneth Carroll Teal; and 3 half brothers, Dallas, Coleman, and Ronnie Eugene O'Neal
