Mae Belle Brigman Buie

 Mrs. Mae Belle Buie, age 81, entered into rest on Monday, September 16, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2024 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Williams with burial to follow in the Edwards Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2024 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

 Mrs. Buie was born July 15, 1943 in Chesterfield, SC the daughter of the late Will and Stella Marie Dixon Brigman. Mae Belle enjoyed cooking for her family. She was known for making the best biscuits as well as her chicken and dumplings. Mrs. Buie also liked being outdoors where she would fish or work in her garden. Mae Belle’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Mrs. Buie was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wilson Buie, Sr.; sisters, Edell Edwards, Pauline Gainey; and two brothers. 

 Survivors include her children, Marvin Buie, Jr. of Patrick, SC, Mary Buie (Ray) Rivers of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Alisha Buie of Florence, SC, Jessie Buie of Lamar, SC, Brittany Buie of Society Hill, SC, Winter Buie of Sumter, SC, Brandon Buie of Patrick, SC; great-grandchildren, Nathan Muniz of Florence, SC, Lucas Crowley of Florence, SC, Elias Crowley of Florence, SC, Zoey Crowley of Florence, SC, Hannah Steen of Chesterfield, SC; special friends, Sadie Edwards of Society Hill, SC, Buffie Boatwright of Patrick, SC.
