Maggie Mae Jordan Sellers

Mt. Croghan, SC

          Mrs. Maggie Mae Jordan Sellers, age 78, entered into rest on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024. Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Friday, April 26, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Bro. Cody Morton with burial to follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. 

          Mrs. Sellers was born June 26, 1945 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Jack and Annie Baker Jordan. A loving homemaker, Maggie was known for her humble and calm nature. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed hosting family gatherings and cookouts. Maggie also enjoyed working in her flowers, watching westerns, and classic television shows like Mr. Ed, Gilligan’s Island, and I Love Lucy. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cats.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sellers was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Sellers; sister, Madge Simpson; brothers-in-law, Allen Burch, Jimmy Simpson, William Sellers, James Sellers, and Dairl Sellers; and sisters-in-law, Juanita Chapple, and Frances Oliver.

          Survivors include her children, Lenson (Marcel) Sellers of Ruby, SC, Steve (Jessica) Sellers of Patrick, SC, Scott (Rayna Edgeworth) Sellers of Mt. Croghan, SC; grandchildren, James “Tater”, Hunter, Jessi, and Harmoni Sellers, Jayden, and Kayleigh Sims, and Shirley (Eric) Brown; great grandchildren, Heather Williams, James Gibson (Lexi), and Tyler Gibson (Chloe), and soon to be arriving, Baby Carson; great-great grandchild, Madison Penny; sister, Mary Burch of Chesterfield, SC; sisters-in-law, Bernice Poston, and Elizabeth Haynes; brother-in-law, John Sellers; numerous nieces and nephews including special nephews, Jackie Sellers, and Carlis Sellers; and special friend, Janie Crowley Parks.
