Mr. Malcolm Bob Parks, age 91, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. A time of viewing will be from 2 O'clock PM to 3 O'clock PM on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, at Woodard Wright Cemetery (Corbitt Rd. in Laurel Hill, NC) by Rev. William Alford.

Mr. Parks was born December 28, 1928 in Randolph, NC a son of the late Lowell Kenneth and Helen Wright Parks. He was a U.S. Army veteran and also served as the former mayor and judge in Union, Mississippi.

In addition to his parents, Malcolm was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Crowley Parks; brothers, Howard, Alfred, and Wayne Parks; and sister, Elsie P. Baldwin.

Survivors include his sister, Bobbie Ann Parks of Hamlet, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews including Joy Parks Coats and husband, James of Carolina Beach, NC, Barry Lynch and Corey Lynch both of Raleigh, NC, Kim Paisley and husband, Mike of Clayton, NC, and Jeff Baldwin of Sanford, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
