Mara Shaine Crowley Wilks

Cheraw, SC

          Mrs. Mara Shaine Crowley Wilks, age 27, was received into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, August 26, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Hart. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the funeral home.

          Mara was born November 16, 1995 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of Caston Crowley, Jr. and Melanie White Crowley. She was 2014 graduate of Chesterfield High School and an employee of the Schaeffler Group USA (formerly INA Bearing) Plant 1. Mara was an active member of Amazing Grace Ministries. A young lady who was always on the go, she enjoyed camping, spending time with friends and family, and loving on her fur babies, “Buck” & “Ellie.” A beautiful soul with an amazing determination and outlook on life, her legacy will shine perpetually.

          Mara was reunited with her paternal grandmother that preceded her in death, Carolyn Wallace Crowley; and aunt, Amanda Truesdale.

          Those left to cherish her beautiful memory include her husband, Hayden Wilks of the home; mother, Melanie White Crowley (Joey) of Chesterfield, SC; father, Caston Crowley, Jr. of Patrick, SC; paternal grandfather, Caston Crowley, Sr of Patrick, SC; maternal grandparents, Robbie White, Sr. of Chesterfield, SC, and Cathy & Bucky Parker of Cheraw, SC; brother, Aden Crowley of Chesterfield, SC; numerous aunts & uncles including, Toni (Chris) Spivey of Cheraw, SC, Nickie (Bubba) Wallace of Patrick, SC, Rob (Erica) White of Chesterfield, SC, Katie (Rocky) Dill of Greer, SC, and Sarah Francis (Austin) Stone of Georgetown, SC; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Randy & Carmen Wilks of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Hillary Hendrix (Tyler Gregory) of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to an innumerable amount of friends, co-workers, and touched lives that are better because of knowing her.

 Mara’s family is most grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown during her journey, not only for her but for them as well. The many gestures of kindness will never be forgotten.

            Memorials may be made in her beautiful memory to a local charity of one’s choice.
