Margaret Elizabeth Cassidy

Patrick, SC

     Ms. Margaret Cassidy, age 70, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2025. A private graveside service will be held at the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Ms. Cassidy was born August 12, 1954 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Sid Berry and Hazel Wilkerson Cassidy. She loved being outdoors where she would appreciate both nature and animals. Though Margaret was a lover of all animals, she had a special place in her heart for her dog, Red, and her two cats. She also enjoyed working in her yard. 

     In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Tyler; and her brother, Joseph Cassidy.

     Survivors include her daughter, Marie (Steven) Butler of Darlington, SC; 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joy (Roy) Murphy of Darlington, SC, Tony (Mandy) Cassidy of Ruby, SC, Jeff (Carol) Cassidy of Patrick, SC, Wesley Cassidy of Patrick, SC; nephew, Roy (Sydney) Murphy, III of Darlington, SC; great-nephew, Roy Murphy, IV; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
