FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Ruby Presbyterian Church

INTERMENT: will be in the Ruby Cemetery

VISITATION: will follow the interment service at the Ruby Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall

HISTORY: Mrs. Huntley was born September 25, 1927 in Mt. Croghan, SC a daughter of the late Tom H. and Hilda Burch Atkinson. She received her BA degree from Coker College and her Masters degree from USC. Margaret was a retired school teacher with 35 years of service. She taught in the Ruby, Jefferson, and Pageland Schools. Mrs. Huntley was an active member of Ruby Presbyterian Church, where she had served as Elder, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, and was a member of the Presbyterian Women. Margaret enjoyed reading and doing cross stitch. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Duncan McGregor Huntley; her son, Duncan M. "Greg" Huntley, Jr.; and by her brother, Charles R. Atkinson.

Sister-in-law: Edith D. Atkinson of Mt. Croghan, SC
4 Grandchildren: Mac (Tabitha) Huntley, Cynthia (Wayne) Southard, Travis Smith all of Ruby, SC, and Mark Smith of Blacksburg, VA
1 Step Grandchild: Bryon (Jennifer) Smith of Carthage, NC
2 Great Grandchildren: Zander Huntley and Marissa Southard
