DECEASED: Mrs. Margaret Jacobs Pierce, age 87, died Friday, December 18, 2015.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 at Cheraw Church of God, 100 Pecan Orchard Rd, Cheraw, SC 29520

INTERMENT: will follow in the Old St. David’s Cemetery, Cheraw, SC

VISITATION: 2:00 – 3:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2015 prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mrs. Pierce was born April 20, 1928 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Charlie and Inez Driggers Jacobs. She was a former employee of Norris Interiors, and retired from Stanton Quilting. Mrs. Pierce was a faithful charter member of Cheraw Church of God, where she served as Sunday school secretary for many years, and was a member of the choir. Margaret was a Godly lady, who was affectionately known as a prayer warrior. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening. In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert Carl Pierce; son, Johnny Pierce; 2 infant twin daughters; great great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Leigh Brigman; and 3 sisters, Esther Quick, Etherene English, and Frances Hinson.
SURVIVORS:
3 Daughters: Margaret Ann (Tommy “James”) Pegues of Lancaster, SC, Linda (Donnie) Gulledge of Morristown, TN, and Rebecca (Richard) Worrell of Chesterfield, SC
1 Brother: Arte (Betty Sue) Jacobs of Wallace, SC
7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren
