Margaret I. Moore

Mrs. Margaret Iacovone Moore, age 73, entered into rest on Monday, December 7, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Dean Parker with burial to follow in the Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore was born August 15, 1947 in Keyser, WV a daughter of the late Frank and Shirley Virts Iacovone. She was a retired employee of Weller Industries and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed collecting cookbooks, working word search puzzles, and completing her paint by numbers books.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by husband, James “Jimmy” William Moore, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, April Moore of the home; brother, Frank (Dora) Iacovone, II of Rockingham, NC; sister-in-law, Pam Rhynes of Wadesboro, NC; nieces, Stacy (Mickey) Soles of Whiteville, NC, and Christina Bromley-Turner of Rockingham, NC; nephews, Scott Rhynes of Wadesboro, NC, and Ike (Shannon) Iacovone of Rockingham, NC; aunt, June Virts of Keyser, WV; great nephews, Mason and Logan Iacovone, Gage and Cameron Bromley-Turner, Blake Tice, and Brett Tice; great-niece, Alexis (Tyler) Greene; and her beloved dog, Lexi.

For the exceptional care and comfort provided for Mrs. Moore and her family, much gratitude is extended to Blake Rogers, Connie Chewning, Brandi Owens and the entire staff of McLeod Hospice.
