Margaret "Maggie" Ballard

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Maggie, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on July 8, 2021. She was born Callie Margaret McManus on February 22, 1940, in Ruby, SC.

She was predeceased by her parents Doc and Lexie McManus and brother, Jackie McManus.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Young (Danny) and Chris Ballard (Sherry); grandchildren: Trey Young (Meghan), Callie Bowden (Justin) & Carson-Hunter Lumpkin (Allston); 7 great grandchildren; cousin Becky Smith Brecht; and sister Diane Rayfield (Howard).

Per Maggie’s request, there will be a private memorial at a later date.
