Mrs. Margie Wallace Mauldin, age 83, entered into rest on Friday, April 12, 2024 at her home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Mark Phillips. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mauldin was born July 12, 1940 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Roy Spofford and Mary Lou Leonard Wallace. She was the owner and operator of the Kountry Korner Produce Stand in Chesterfield for over 15 years. Margie was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church where she was a member of the W.M.U. and served on the bereavement committee. Known for her quick wit and feisty personality, Margie enjoyed spending time with her friends and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mauldin was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Mauldin; brother, Carroll Wallace; niece, Michelle “Toot” Webster; and her beloved dog, “Pepper.”

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Johnson of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Paige (Derry) Lindsey, Brittany (Ryan Turner) Johnson both of Chesterfield, SC; great grandson, Derrion Kody “Tank” Lindsey; step-daughter, Barbara Koshar of Cheraw, SC; sister-in-law, Linda Jenkins of Cary, NC; niece, Crystal (Jake) Johnson and their children, Wade & Waylon of Mt. Croghan, SC. Other family members include special son, Jerry C. Deese of Irmo, SC; special friends, Peggy, Dot, Goldie, and Eva; and her beloved dog, “Ginger.”
