Mrs. Margie Rae Perdue Brigman, age 85, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 4, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 3, 2019 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brigman was born September 27, 1933 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Edward and Nezzie Coker Perdue. She was a devoted homemaker and was revered as the matriarch of her family. Margie Rae enjoyed cooking, working in her flowers, and spoiling her dogs. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brigman was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Lee Brigman, Sr.; children, Norman Brigman, Thomas “Eddie” Brigman, Dana R. Lisenby, Bruce Brigman, and Robert L. Brigman, Jr.; grandson, Ryan Martin; great-great grandson, Haze Talsky; son-in-law, Chris Roscoe; daughters-in-law, Patricia Brigman and Jeanette Brigman; brothers, James Perdue and Roy Perdue; sister, Roberta Harrell; sister-in-law, Betty Deese Perdue; and brother-in-law, James Ellis Burch, Sr.
