Mr. Marion Francis Crowley, Jr. age 67, entered into rest on Friday, November 16, 2018 at his home. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Ronald Thurman and Rick Strawn with burial to follow in the Ruby Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Crowley was born August 11, 1951 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Marion Francis and Helen Geneva Ingram Crowley. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as a helicopter mechanic. Marion was a retired employee of Lynches River Electric Coop. and a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. His passion was racing, and he enjoyed racing anything that had wheels on it.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Paulette S. Crowley of the home; step-daughter, Terri (Dean) Lisenby of Florence, SC; 4 grandchildren, Scott (Felicia) Parker, Joshua Parker both of Ruby, SC, Breanna Lisenby, and Tripp Lisenby both of Florence, SC; 4 great grandchildren, Carson, Coby, C.J., and Bryce; half-brother, Paul (Sherry) Crowley of Cheraw, SC; brothers-in-law, Rick (Nancy) Strawn of Pageland, SC, and Jim Strawn of Gainesville, FL; sisters, Mary (Steve) Falen of Macon, GA, and Maye (Gary Hughes) Hinson of Laurinburg, NC.
