Marolyn Sellers Haun

Cheraw, SC 

          Mrs. Marolyn Sellers Haun, age 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church by Pastor Jamie Gulledge with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the church. 

          Mrs. Haun was born January 20, 1947 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Weldon Dewitt and Irene Rivers Sellers. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and was a former employee of both Chesterfield Manufacturing Company and Stanley Tools. Marolyn was a devout Christian lady and a faithful member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening but time spent with her family was the treasure of her heart. 

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Haun was also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard “Tump” Sellers, and Harmon Sellers; and sisters, Peggy Hunt, and Glennie Hancock.  

          Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Harry Haun, Jr. of the home; sons, Tim Lampley, and Glen (Kathy Lee) Lampley both of Cheraw, SC; stepdaughter, Wanda (Chris) Smith of Cheraw, SC; step-son, Lee (Patti) Haun of Georgetown, SC; step-granddaughter, Kelly Hyatt, Lauren (Josh) Sims; great grandchildren, Sophia, Mason, Aria, Natalie, and Oliver; siblings, Kenny Dean (Virginia) Sellers, Sandra (Grady) Tucker, Weldon (Carolyn) Sellers, Jr. all of Cheraw, SC; brother-in-law, Manley Hancock of Ruby, SC; in addition to one niece and numerous nephews.

          The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to hospice nurse Stacy Beaver and the entire staff of McLeod Hospice for the extraordinary care provided to Mrs. Haun and her family.
