Ms. Marsha Ann Pixler, age 80, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in Clover, SC. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend Danny McCurry with burial to follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Pixler was born November 27, 1944 in Charlotte, NC a daughter of the late James A. Pixler, Jr. and Dorothy Williams Pixler. She was a homemaker and attended Bethel United Methodist Church for many years and also enjoyed attending Oak Grove Baptist Church with her friends. Marsha enjoyed singing gospel music and was a part of the “Glory Road Travelers” group with her sisters. In her later years, she accompanied her friend, James Gilbert in singing and ministering to the local retirement homes. Above all, Marsha loved the Lord and enjoyed singing about his love.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Pixler was also preceded in death by her brothers, James, Curtis, and Lee Pixler.
Survivors include her children, Jody (Paul) Taylor of Clover, SC, and Winters Jennings Herman, III of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Heather Herman and Madison Taylor; sisters, Patricia Crowley of Ruby, SC, and Wanda (Randy) Brady of Rockford, IL; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
