Mrs. Martha Lee Brock Deese, age 82, entered into rest on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Antonio Patterson with burial to follow at Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Martha Lee Brock Deese was born August 18, 1940 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Oscar and Sarah Oliver Brock. Martha enjoyed attending church, completing cross word puzzles, and her time working at Nana’s Kitchen. Mrs. Martha loved taking care of  her family more than anything and times spent with her children and grandchildren were her favorite times.

In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband; Billy Deese; children; Billie Jean Jenkins, Tony Melvin Deese, Larry Wayne Deese; and sisters; Dollie Mae Baugh and Juanita Sports.

Survivors include her grandchildren; Danielle (Chris Donahue) Jenkins of Patrick, SC and her father Kenny Mangum of Pageland, SC, Deronda (Cameron) Michael of Florence, SC, and Shannon Jenkins of Ruby, SC; great grandchildren, Gabi (Darrell Barnes) Laney of Lugoff, SC, Devin Donahue of Patrick, SC, Mylah Michael of Florence, SC, Bree Michael of Florence, SC, Alana Brigman of Ruby, SC, Raiden Jenkins of Cassatt, SC, Traci Carnes of Pageland, SC, Travis Carnes of Pageland, SC; great-great grandchild, Roddy Barnes of Lugoff, SC; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters of the heart, Linda Black and Vivian Brigman of Ruby, SC
