Mrs. Martha Ann Maxwell Tucker, age 59, entered into rest on Monday, October 2, 2017. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Pine Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Mark Phillips with burial to follow in the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Tucker was born October 16, 1957 in Jacksonville, FL a daughter of the late Charles Orval and Martha Lou Smith Maxwell. She was a former employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Martha Ann, along with her husband, enjoyed raising and taking care of the livestock on the family farm. She enjoyed working in God’s creation, from gardening and planting flowers, to driving a tractor, she will be remembered as a hard -working lady. In addition to the livestock, Martha Ann also loved raising poodles and was proud of her long-time pet and friend, “Fluffy”.

In addition to her parents, Martha Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Eisenhower “Ike” Tucker; 1 brother, Charles Stuart Maxwell; and her infant daughter, September Jane Tucker.

Survivors include her brother, Ronnie (Cynthia) Maxwell of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Jean Allison Maxwell of Patrick, SC and April Maxwell Melton of Chesterfield, SC; niece, Melanie Maxwell (Chris) Tarlton of Mt. Croghan, SC; nephew, Lee Charles Maxwell of Florence, SC; also special friends, Phillip and Yetive Caulder of Chesterfield, SC

The family would like to express their appreciation and love to all of Martha Ann’s caregivers through the years.
