Marvin Bryant Smith

Mr. Marvin Bryant “Smitty” Smith, age 56, entered into rest on Friday, April 29, 2022. In keeping with Mr. Smith’s wishes, no formal services will be held. The family welcomes friends to come pay their respects at the home of Mr. Smith.

Mr. Smith was born February 1, 1966 in Cheraw, SC to Luther Bryant and Peggy Bennett Smith. Mr. Smith worked in machine maintenance and concrete construction. Smitty enjoyed racing and working on asphalt super late model cars. Mr. Smith was also an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing; as well as hunting boar, deer, or any other game that would walk in front of Smitty in the woods. Above all else, Mr. Smith loved being an uncle to his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his grandparents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his “little buddy” and nephew, Christian Luck.

Survivors include Mr. Smith’s loving parents, Luther Bryant and Peggy Bennett Smith of the home; siblings, Tommy Smith of Concord, NC, Chris (Wanda) Smith of Cheraw, SC, Lynn (Tommy) Wallace of Cheraw, SC, Dawn (Troy) Luck of Cheraw, SC; nephews and nieces, Austin (Stacy) Smith, Cheyenne (Robert Johnson) Wallace, Miranda Wallace, Lanie (Manny) Cardenas, Kelly Hyatt; and great-niece and great-nephews, Carter, Callie, and Connor.
