Mary Funderburk

Mrs. Mary Mungo Funderburk, age 81, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 after a sudden illness.

She was born November 7, 1934, in Pageland, SC, a daughter of the late Perry F. and Lois Funderburk Mungo. Mary was a graduate of Pageland High School and Limestone College. She was a retired Vice-President with Bank of America and had spent more than 40 years in the banking industry. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pageland. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and housekeeping. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ned Funderburk.

Mary is survived by her 2 sons, Steve Jackson and wife Kathy of Pageland, SC and Tony N. Funderburk and wife Cammie of Charlotte, NC; 3 grandchildren, Conner, Julia, and Barrett Funderburk; one brother, Bo (Frances) Mungo of Pageland, SC; and 3 sisters, Theda M. Lynn of Pageland, SC, Judy (Joel) Mills of Mt. Croghan, SC, and Elaine (Danny) Hendrix of Pageland, SC

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Pageland, with Interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive family and friends 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Funderburk home.
