HISTORY: Mrs. Gulledge was born July 7, 1928 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late John Wesley and Hattie Atkinson Gainey. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Gulledge was a member of Ruby Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed cooking and reading. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James P. "Jimmie" Gulledge; 2 grandchildren, Rikki Marie Gulledge and Nathan Garrett; 3 brothers, James, J.C., and Willie Gainey; and by 2 sisters, Helen Boan and Dorothy Curtis.

SURVIVORS:
2 Sons: Tommy (Mary) Gulledge and Glenn (Barbara) Gulledge both of Cheraw, SC
3 Grandsons: Phillip Gulledge of San Clemente, CA, Austin (Jena) Owen, and Dylan Owen both of Cheraw, SC
1 Brother: Heyward (Genelia) Gainey of Sunset Beach, NC
