HISTORY: Mrs. Hayes was born December 26, 1922, in Brownsville, SC, a daughter of the late John and Anna Pack Brown. She was a retired Nursing Assistant with Chesterfield General Hospital. Mrs. Hayes was a member of Windsor Park Free Will Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed reading, puzzle books, gardening, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded death by her husband, Richard P. Hayes, 2 daughters, Pixie Adams and Ricky Hayes, her 3 brothers, Alan, Jessie, and Neely Brown, her 2 sisters, Reenie Brown and Maebell Freeman, and by a special sister-in-law, Mae Strickland.

3 Sons: Richard S. (Nancy) Hayes of Patrick, SC, Johnny (Susan) Hayes, and Ray (Cynthia) Hayes both of Cheraw, SC
2 Daughters: Barbara (Martin) Hancock and Billie (James) McLendon both of Cheraw, SC
Also 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren
