VISITATION: will be 3:30 – 4:30 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2015, prior to service at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Hurst was born April 9, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC, the daughter of the late John Gary and Mary Rivers Moore. She was a graduate of Zoar High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Hurst was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church. Mary Jean enjoyed working in her yard, growing pretty flowers, reading and playing the piano. Her favorite thing was taking care of and being with her family. In addition to her parents, Mary Jean was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry Hurst, and by her 6 brothers, O.B., Brooks, Kimbell, Clarence, Colston, and Ansel Moore.
