DECEASED: Mrs. Mary Beatrice Woodward Oliver, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2009 at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2009 at Cross Roads Baptist Church

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 5:00 - 7:00pm, Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Miller Rivers Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Oliver was born May 6, 1923 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Joseph Hebron and Mary Elizabeth Steen Woodward. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Oliver was always a happy person who greeted strangers with open arms, and was blessed with many friends. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and always enjoyed a good joke. Her home was often filled with laughter. Beatrice loved country music, and enjoyed the sounds of children laughing and playing. Mrs. Oliver was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and attended Clanton Plains Baptist Church. Beatrice was married to the late Jimmie Oliver and was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Jean Diane Oliver and Jane Patricia Woodward, 3 grandchildren, Billy Joe Lewis, Shannon Renay Hargrove, and Stacy Lynn Oliver, and by 3 sisters, Grace Williams, Sarah Baker, and Rosa Wise.

2 Sons: James Perry (Jeanette) Oliver, and David Levoid (Sharon) Oliver both of Ruby, SC
3 Daughters: Mary Marcel (Lenson) Sellers, and Doris Oliver Taylor both of Ruby, SC, and Margaret Elizabeth (Jerry) Gibson of Lancaster, SC
1 Brother: Eugene (Lona Mae) Woodward of Ruby, SC
1 Sister: Cora Grass of Kannapolis, NC
2 Sisters-in-law: Leila Mae Oliver of Ruby, SC and Lucille Wilkerson of Rock Hill, SC
18 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and 11 Great Great Grandchildren
