Ms. Mary Dell Adams, age 91, entered into rest on Friday, April 6, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Phares and Phillip Caulder, Jr. with burial to follow in Westfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, April 9, 2018 at the funeral home.

Ms. Adams was born June 14, 1926 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Elijah P. and Lennie Lee Jones. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and enjoyed attending Bethel United Methodist Church. Ms. Adams enjoyed working in her flowers and working cross word puzzles. A lady who never met a stranger, Mary Dell was always meeting and talking with people.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Adams was also preceded in death by her daughter, Vera K. Adams; brothers, Ed and John Jones; sisters, Nellie Brock, Thelma Campbell, Rosa Lee Little, Vera “Betty” Dowd, and Julia Jones.

Survivors include her son, Floyd Darryl (Gail) Wallace of Bridgewater, NJ; daughters, Linda A. (Edwin) Taylor of Hartsville, SC, Mary Oletta (Ray) Deese of Patrick, SC, Marcia A. Tolson of Chesterfield, SC; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a host of “adopted” grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
