DECEASED: Mrs. Maxine "Bill" Hamilton Vaughn, age 83, died Monday, February 15, 2010.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Fairview Baptist Church.

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 — 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Vaughn was born December 17, 1926, in Wadesboro, NC, a daughter the late Jesse James and Lora Jordan Threadgill. She was a graduate of Ruby High School and Queens Business College, and was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Vaughn was the youngest and last surviving charter member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Bill was preceded in death by her husbands, John D. Hamilton and Howard C. Vaughn, a son, Bobby Hamilton, a brother, Robert Threadgill, and by 2 sisters, Minnie Jordan and Melba Jordan.

2 Sons: Johnny (Carolyn) Hamilton and Tony (Annette) Hamilton both of Mt. Croghan, SC
Special Son: John (Maria) Holgerem of St. Paul, MN
2 Stepsons: Cliff (Carolyn) Vaughn of Raleigh, NC and Steve (Cathy) Vaughn of High Point, NC
7 Grandchildren: David, Robert, John, and Scott Hamilton, Chris and Jane Vaughn, and Lisa Blanton
4 Great Grandchildren: Zachary and Xander Hamilton, Will Gore, and Ava Wallace
