HISTORY: Mr. Polson was born December 12, 1949 in Cheraw, SC a son of Doris Williams Polson Hudson, and the late Melvin Eugene Polson. He was a 1968 graduate of Cheraw High School, and also received a Welding and Mechanic degree from Chesterfield Marlboro Tec. Eugene was a retired mechanic with INA USA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Polson was a member of the American Legion and the WOW Lodge 516. Eugene was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, and spending time at the beach. He also enjoyed classic cars, race car driving, building racing engines, and Nascar racing. Eugene loved his Family and Friends and they were all special to him. In addition to his father, Eugene was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lee Polson.
