Mr. Michael D. Moore, age 43, entered into rest on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, July 17, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Charles Teal, Rev. David Wilks, and Rev. Dennis Wallace with burial to follow in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore was born April 18, 1974 in Cheraw, SC a son of Bonnie Williams Moore and the late Douglas McArthur Moore. Michael was a graduate of Chesterfield High School, Class of 1992, and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. He was an employee of Fred’s Department Store and Palmetto Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. Michael will be fondly remembered by many for his years of employment at Piggly Wiggly where he greeted everyone with a smile and kind word. He enjoyed being around people, making new friends, talking on his cellphone, and was known for his shoe collection.

In addition to his father, Michael was also preceded in death by his brother, Matthew McArthur Moore.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Bonnie W. Moore of the home; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
