HISTORY: Mr. Rivers was born May 3, 1954 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Pittman Victor and Catherine Vena Sellers Rivers. He was a graduate of Hartsville High School and attended Florence-Darlington TEC. Mike was a retired employee of Sonoco Products and a member of the Old Timer's Club. He was a faithful member of Patrick Baptist Church where he served as former deacon, Sunday school teacher, choir member and assistant choir director. Mike was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading, music, American History, and spending time with his family.

2 Stepdaughters: Jennifer (James) Sawyer and Shannon Byrd of Patrick, SC
2 Sisters: Sylvia Rivers (Mike) Johnson of Hartsville, SC and Elaine Rivers (George) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC
