Michael Hugh White

Mr. Michael Hugh White, age 52, entered into rest on Saturday, February 5, 2022. A Memorial service will be held 6:00 O’clock PM Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor. A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born September 30, 1969 in Cheraw, SC a son of Patsy Gainey White and the late Hugh Burris White. An avid hunter and fisherman, Michael also enjoyed reading his bible, eating anything his Mother-in-law cooked, and his mother’s sweet potato pies. Michael was a volunteer firefighter for 25 years, a talented painter, and was always good to tell a good joke. He will be remembered as a patient man who loved the lord.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Burris White.

Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Tonya White of the home; sons, Alex Michael White and Hunter Hugh White both of the home; mother, Patsy Gainey White of Patrick, SC; sister, Mellisa (Bryan) Suydam of Murphy, NC; mother-in-law, Ann Morris of Chesterfield, SC; nephew, Josh Woods of Patrick, SC; niece, Courtney Frazier of Fort Mill, SC; and brother of the heart and best friend, John (Kathy) Rivers of Patrick, SC.
