FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel
INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery
VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. prior to the service Monday, December 17, 2012 at the funeral home.
HISTORY: Mrs. Hammond was born September 19, 1930 in Dillon, SC, a daughter of the late Eugene Greyard Bacot and Lina Margaret Quick Bacot. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School, and worked for Chesterfield County Department of Social Services for many years, retiring as a supervisor in 1994. Mildred was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Sara Belle Phillips Sunday School class, and also served as church secretary for many years. In addition to her parents, Mildred was also preceded in death by her husband, William J. "Jack" Hammond, Sr., a sister, Anne Bacot, and by 4 brothers, Bernard, Eugene, Harold, and Danny Bacot.

2 Sons: Jackie (Luann) Hammond of Chesterfield, SC and Rick (Lobie) Hammond of Cheraw, SC
4 Grandchildren: Rachel (Clint) Gulledge, Travis (Frannie) Hammond, David (Shelley) Morgan, and Hannah King.
4 Great Grandchildren: Allie Vaughn, Mary Catherine Hammond, James Gulledge, and Jaden Riley
Sister: Peggy (Joe) Calcutt of Florence, SC
2 Brothers: Bobby (Barbara) Bacot of Laurinburg, NC and Laverne Bacot of Aiken, SC
