HISTORY: Mr. Goodson was born August 16, 1954 in Hartsville, SC a son of the late Rev. Milton L. "Bill" and Cora Lee Brigman Goodson. He was a retired employee of Hughes Plumbing Supply. J.R. enjoyed watching sports, and was an avid UNC Tarheels basketball fan, and an Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Goodson was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Butch Hedden.
