Minnie Gulledge

Mrs. Minnie “Miss Bill” Ratliff Gulledge, age 89, died Monday, July 18, 2016 at the home of her daughter. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 21, 2016 at White Oak Presbyterian Church by Rev. Charlie Short and Rev. Johnny Tadlock. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gulledge was born January 14, 1927 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late James Nathaniel and Lena McNair Ratliff. She was a retired employee of INA Bearing and a life long member of White Oak Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Gulledge was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and good friend to everyone she met. She will surely be missed by all who knew her. Her laughter and good sense of humor was always an uplifting assurance to all. Her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law thought of her as their sister.

In addition to her parents, Miss Bill was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Beuford P. Gulledge; brothers, Dewey, Perry, Roy, Fred, Duncan, and J.D. Ratliff; and her sisters, Thelma Knight, Mary Campbell, Ruth Martin, and Clara Short.

Survivors include her son, Danny P. Gulledge and wife Peggy of Ruby, SC, 2 daughters, Judy G. Tomlinson and husband Charlie of Oak Island, NC, and Sherry G. Tadlock and husband Rev. Johnny of Pageland, SC; sister, Louise Allen of Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Charles Tomlinson, Jr. of York, SC, Steven Scott Tomlinson and wife Stephanie of Bolivia, NC, Nicolas Gulledge of Cheraw, SC; Chad Tadlock and wife Crystal, Amber Tadlock Sowell and husband Dexter both of Pageland, SC; Brandi Rivers and husband Bill, Crystal Rollins and husband Anthony both of Ruby, SC; 10 Great Grandchildren, Hunter Gulledge, Aiden Tomlinson, Maegan Tomlinson, Lauren Tomlinson, Rebekah Tadlock, Owen Tadlock, Colton Tadlock, Jalen Sowell, Harper Sowell, Garrett Rivers, Gavin Rivers, Grady Rivers, Dawson Rivers, and Abram Rollins.
