Mr. Mitchell Don Steen, Jr., 25, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was born August 19, 1997 in Monroe, NC a son of Crystal Gail Sowell and the late Mitchell Don Steen. Mr. Steen who was affectionately called “June Bug” loved life. He loved riding dirt bikes and watching his favorite team, the Chicago Bulls play basketball. Mr. Steen enjoyed drawing scenes of all kind.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Steen will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Alexander officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Steen is survived by his mother, Crystal Gail Sowell and Step Father, Ronald Sowell of Lancaster; two sons, Bentley Don Steen of Alblemarle, NC and Remington Isaiah Steen of Pageland; two brothers, Christian Steen and Noah Steen of Jefferson; two sisters, Mariah Hammonds and her husband Qwan of Heath Springs, and Deliah Steen of Jefferson.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
