Mrs. Monika Kley Belk, age 71, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 12, 2021 at First Freewill Baptist Church by Reverend Troy Watkins with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 9:30-11:00 AM Friday prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Belk was born June 10,1950 in Frankfurt, Germany a daughter of the late Karl and Erna Kley. Monika was an animal lover who loved cats. A member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Pageland, Monika loved her church family. She enjoyed shopping, yard sales, and watching Hallmark and Lifetime on TV; however, she mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Monika will be remembered as a lady that was small in stature but as tough as they come. She was a cancer survivor that fought breast and pancreatic cancer and never let either of them slow her down.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Belk was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Belk.

Survivors include her son; Charles Thomas (Deanna) Belk, daughter; Melissa Katherine (Paul) Cox; grandchildren; Taylor (Ryan) Courtney, Braxton Cox, Bryce Cox; grandchildren of the heart; Jordan Mills, Casey Mills, Cody Belk, Drake Wilson, and Micah Jordan; brothers, Fred Kley and Dietor Kley; sister, Emka Kley; in addition to several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
